• Every night in the 60's, on TV news, I watched American police and soldiers beating, shooting, bombing, torturing, killing American citizens (including children) for the crime of peacefully asking for equality. .

• In elementary school we learned of America's revolution for the rich. Wrapped in promises of freedom from oppression and liberty, cunning rich white founding fathers fought violently for THEIR 18th century corporate constitution that gifted them the explicit legal right and freedom to enslave and extort intimacy from their own wives, their children and strangers as slaves and used deadly force to guarantee that legal right.

• America's sordid history of relentless violence, shocks and disgusts Canadians.

• Despite dire warnings from America, wartime Canadians repelled American conquest by electing social justice protestant ministers Tommy Douglas, Stanley Knowles and 14 other socialists, who could not be bought by American dollars.

• Tommy Douglas, Canada's socialists and Indigenous leaders like Harold Cardinal forced Liberals and Conservatives to create Canada's 20th century constitution, writing a Covenant of Care into Canadian law, recognition that as a nation, a national community, not a corporation, Canada's wealth belongs to all her citizens, for the purpose, for every citizen to thrive. That legal covenant is the legal and economic basis of universal public healthcare, public pensions, public education and a public social safety net of CARE for all Canadians in every stage of life whenever illness, disease, a natural disaster, war, pandemic, or man made disaster struck or the world economy crashed.

• Tommy Douglas enabled me to escape povery. Inspired by Tommy Douglas, the father of Canadian medicare, I went into social justice ministry in 1985.

• As a federal Employment Counsellor and Community Economic Development officer, it gave me great joy for decades, to help Canadians escape poverty then see the lives of their children and grandchildren's generation dramatically improve with health, happiness and possibilities for fulfillment.

What went wrong? 'Free' Trade is really 'Domination!'

• When Free Trade was signed, my old boss John Turner accused my new boss Brian Mulroney of corruption, selling-out Canada for American dollars. American dollars thoroughly corrupted my Liberal and Conservative bosses, who promised us public servants that we will be rich, rich, rich with a share of the loot if we loyally and secretly and illegally deny Employment Insurance, ODSP, Hospital care, Welfare and Workplace Safety Insurance to legally entitled desperate Canadians in their time of need the American Way. Appeal letters were torn and thrown in the garbage like in American government. Nurses and social workers came to me for counselling because innocent Canadians were wrongly and illegally denied care, lost their health and their homes and died. We were promised money and promotions for sabotaging public services, to be sold to the corporations. Canadians and their families lost everything. I quit the corrupt government.

• Then I worked for a hospital where patients died horribly because they were wrongly and illegally denied proper care, for profit, like in American healthcare.

• I complained but discovered that, under Free Trade, there is no punishment for corruption in government services operated by corporations.

• Ask Liberals and Conservatives, "Why do you hate us so much?" Answer: Betraying humanity to be loyalty to corporate profit makes them rich.

• First Nations, then disabled people, then the poor, then all working class were identified as 'not worthy of investment.' We were told, 'The old, the young, the sick, the blind, the lame, the poor, immigrants, and all their caregivers and especially natives are parasites, not worthy of investment.'

• Hoarding and rationing and denying the necessities of life: (food, housing, hope, employment) is hate.

• I have said these things door to door in election after election since 1995, on radio, TV and on parliament hill.

• Like Pavlov's dogs, you run to vote for the politician who praises you and pats you on the head. Sadly, you don't believe your own eyes or experience.

Why do I want to be Ward 3 City Councillor?

My Personal Reasons for Running in 2026

I distributed flyers declaring a food, housing and healthcare emergency. I demanded megaprojects to solve those problems. Grieving my son's death made me unable to speak.

Like the suffering and death of your loved ones in long-term care, hospitals, on the street and from drugs, Tom's death was caused by depraved greedy Americanized Liberal and Conservative politicians, drug manufacturers, and sadistic managers of healthcare, social programs and housing corporations.

Like Trump, Liberals and Conservatives strangle and starve systems of care, because they truly believe American doctrines that unemployed human beings are worthless and not worthy of investment. That's why depraved Ford and Smith sell healthcare to corporate friends. So many died in longterm care, so demons like Mike Harris could profit. So many are still suffering horribly from negligence. Your poverty, hardship and poverty are government policy.

Today: in Canada

• A quarter of Canadians need food banks, 80,000 are homeless

• 1 in 40 people will have demential by 2030

• these trends were predicted in the 1970's

Today: in Brantford because of gentrification, maximum rents and negligence

• Mothers tell me: they can't escape abusive relationships

• senior women in their 80's are being illegally evicted to maximize rent

• Senior women freezing at -10 are denied entry to the shelter

• Disabled people with wheelchairs try to survive on the streets

• I have seen people with broken legs, huge open sores, and totally disoriented

• Mothers tell me landlords demand sex from them or their children

• retail managers tell me they can extort sex from women with precarious jobs

• the waitlist for subsidized apartments was reduced from 8 years to 10 years

• mothers tell me their daughters are sexually assaulted in shelters

• homeless women tell me they need a dominant man to protect them from others

• women, boys and girls are forced into prostitution by Brantford's welfare rules

• ambulance attendants and nurses tell me they are assaulted at work

• pervs prey on homeless people, rape especially girls with no consequences

• mothers tell me violent criminals are dropped off at the shelter by police

• I have seen the hospital evict patients who are totally disoriented onto the street

  without proper clothing and without contacting family

• a womens' advocate says a young girl who runs away is likely to be dead by 34 from the relentless gauntlet of abuse, depression, assaults, illness, disability, intimidation, shunning, hunger, rape, cold, heat, abandonment and shaming.

• Brantford's republican newspaper published a half page opinion by a city spokesperson who portrayed workers who don't have housing as subhuman brutes who don't feel pain like you and I do.

• a former councillor told me he wants to "Hire more police to keep homeless people constantly moving so they get the message to go away and die somewhere out of sight."

You consistently vote for all of this sadistic harm. It is intentional.

Could you buy a family home today? ... without generations of sustainable employment in a unionized job?

Upward mobility was the gift Tommy Douglas' NDP gave to boomer Canadians by taking votes away from Liberals and Conservatives. Douglas and the NDP lifted boomers like me out of poverty.

In gratitude, I lifted others out of poverty for decades working in management in Employment Counselling and Economic Development. But then Liberals and Conservatives sabotaged Canada's economy.

Is that why your family is struggling? for generations?

Free Trade was signed in 1988. Then Liberals and Conservatives eagerly started to export hundreds of thousands of well-paid unionized jobs. They told us they were eager to profit by selling our billions of dollars worth of hospitals, healthcare and social program infrastructure to American HMO insurance corporations and they didn't intend to 'waste' money on income support or healthcare or housing for the Canadian workers they forced into unemployment.

In management, Liberals and Conservatives promised us a bonus for saving money, sabotaging programs and selling programs that would be wasted on worthless human beings.

According to Liberal ideals and Conservative values, they taught us unemployed surplus working class people are morally, intellectually and cognitively inferior and not producing a profit, so their lives are worthless, not worthy of investment to keep them alive.

They promised us a bonus, 'a share of the loot,' 'a bounty' to illegally deny EI, disability pensions, WSIB, welfare and healthcare to millions of Canadians in crisis. Appeal letters were torn up. I saw workers lose their cars, their homes, their families and some killed themselves.

They coached us, "Imagine the pleasure you feel when you say NO to a person, and it doesn't make sense, and it is totally unfair and watch them realize that you hold that power over them, and they are going to fall so far, and lose everything, and it makes no sense, and there is nothing they can do."

"Imagine meeting them on the street and they avert their eyes, because they know what you have done to them. Perhaps you step over them, and remember who they used to be."

Upper management coached us, "It's immoral to have empathy for those people. They are nothing like you. It's bitter medicine but they have to learn. You have to be cruel to be kind. The strong survive. Those people are your enemy, standing between you and more money."

At the hospital, I witnessed patients with heart attacks and strokes denied care so management could get a bonus, a share of the loot. Again, I was told, "Those people are not like you. The old, the young, the sick, the blind, the lame, the poor, the disabled, immigrants, and care givers, might as well all be natives. They are abusers of the system. Those people are your enemy standing between you and a few dollars more, I just put in your paycheque. "

In each case, I refused to be complicit. I accused the top public servant in Canada of killing Canadians by Americanization. He said, "Everything we do is results oriented. We have all the research we need to know the results of each policy decision. If that is the effect, its because that is the intent."

And I have said this to the public door to door. on radio, TV and CPAC on Parliament Hill, in election after election, since 1995.

Why is it taboo for labor and advocates for women and disabled persons to listen to my testimony, even though they know it's true from their own experience?

Tommy Douglas would recognize the left's willful blindness as perversely submissive. They cause unnecessary suffering to continue for decades.

As a sovereign nation, Canada's wealth belongs to all the people. Canada has a duty to care for all of us. Canada has a legal covenant, a fiduciary duty that cannot be repudiated, to use the wealth that is owned by all Canadians, to provide care for each person so each person thrives. These duties are connected legally through the UN conventions to the laws of Nuremberg. Nuremberg as American law, set the precedent of retroactive law not needing a precedent, with capital punishment, with no statute of limitations. Germany sent aged women to prison for simply filling out forms that caused disabled and poor people to be left outside to suffer horribly and die from hunger and weather.

I Accuse Liberals and Conservatives of criminal breach of trust, criminal conflict of interest, criminal negligence causing death.

My Motivation? Started out years ago as Social Justice Ministry

In the 60s, if fidelity to your faith or conscience or Indigenous values or your nation's culture inspires you to genuinely provide care for others with dignity, so they thrive as your equal, a world of people like you, joined with 'democratic socialist' Tommy Douglas, the father of Canadian public healthcare to fight for freedom, (freedom from America) to become independent nations and to care for our peoples.

As a child, I was inspired by Tommy Douglas, the social justice protestant minister who joined Cree leader Harold Cardinal pushing Canada to defy America by forcing Liberals and Conservatives to create Canada's 20th century Constitution, that recognized that the wealth of Canada, (or any nation) belongs to all the people, funding Canada's Covenant of Care: universal public healthcare, pensions, education and social programs so that each person can thrive in pursuing their own individual fulfillment.

That fiduciary legal duty to provide care is why socialist Tommy Douglas is the most beloved politician in Canadian history, but most hated by the corporate parties: Liberal and Conservative.

I helped Canadians escape poverty for decades as management for Liberal and Conservative politicians.

In 1988, my Canadian politician bosses accepted American dollars to betray Canada and sell healthcare and other social programs to American insurance corporations.

They taught us Conservative and Liberal moral doctrines from America:

• Only those who afford profit care should receive the necessities of life.

While middle-class women can expect to live to 85, young women who are homeless or couch surfing are dying now, with a life expectancy of only 34 painful years. Welcome to America! The immense scale of attack and criminal neglect against mental patients and frankly anyone who doesn't have money is startling.

Imagine you are 20 or 70 and your landlord evicts you to get double your rent from the next tenant. Even if you try to protect your body from freezing with a tent, the police tear it up "to keep you moving in the hope that you will go away and die somewhere out of sight of comfortable people with property. Evicting your fellow Canadians to the streets is cruel. Nature is unforgiving.

In the 60's wartime Canadians deliberately voted for a compassionate Canada, with the duty and responsibility to care for every person, and future generations, so that they thrive. What was the character of the wartime generation?

In 1993, boomer Canadian professionals and managers deliberately voted for Free Trade: Corporate Freedom from any duty to care for other Canadians or future generations. What does that say about the character of the boomer generation in management?
